No not always. My focus is always on getting the traditional photo in the bag first, with some children this is done very quickly and we have time to do a couple of other things, which vary from session to session. If a child is shy or on the other end of the scale overly excitable and it takes longer to get the normal shot than we may not have time to do anything ‘different’.
At the end of the day I do things at the childs pace and won’t push them to do more than is right for them just to tick a box of having done a certain type of shot.
